Marshmallows?

It's summertime and that calls for BBQ's, camp-outs topped off by roasting marshmallows! Can you believe that my husband has never had a marshmallow until he met me? What!?! Yes, it's true. I introduced him to these last summer and you can only imagine his surprise and delight when he tried them. It's not a product that you find readily accessible in Italy as it is in U.S. anytime of year on the shelf. As soon as we arrived in Sweden, we found them once again. Last night we grilled steaks and slices of eggplant (yummm) and then finished off the evening sitting outside roasting marshmallows and storytelling by the fire. I prefer a golden marshmallow, but Michele likes to wait until his is on fire, just so he can marvel at the flame for a second. :) Followed by a giggle and then enjoyed! Just between us, I think he's ready to advance to the next level...that's right, you guessed it, S'mores!!!
